Horses produce free radicals as part of normal body metabolism in response to environmental factors, exercise, disease, or inadequate supply of natural antioxidants. Free radicals cause damage to cells, sometimes referred to as oxidative stress, and lead to fatigue and muscle damage if left unchecked. Supplementation with antioxidants helps offset this risk by protecting cell membranes and 

supporting overall health. 

Preserve is a scientifically-formulated broad-spectrum, powdered source of natural vitamin E, organic selenium, magnesium, and vitamin C.
 

Preserve may be used strategically during periods of highintensity exercise to protect against muscle damage and soreness in all performance horses. In these cases, feed daily for three days prior to intense exercise, on the day of competition, and for three days after.
