GLUCOS-A-FLEX 5KG
Joint support for long-term performance
Care of joints is critical to a horse realising its athletic
potential. Unlike their wild counterparts, domestic
horses are asked to jump, to bend and flex into difficult
movements, to stop and spin on a five-cent coin, to trot
for hours, or gallop at top speed around a track. All of this
puts unnatural stresses and forces on their joints.
Glucos-A-Flex® contains a blend of glucosamine
hydrochloride, the essential amino acid methionine,
calcium, vitamin C, and organic copper, zinc, and
manganese to supplement deficient diets. This blend of
nutrients is vital for cartilage and bone development,
maintenance of elastic connective tissue, and support of
skin and mucous membranes.
Why Choose Glucos-A-Flex
• Maintains elastic connective tissue, joint health and
function in all working, performance, and older horses.
• Assists in the formation of connective tissue, bones,
and joint cartilage due to superior bioavailability of the
individual minerals.
• Supports cell division and protein synthesis for skeletal
growth and repair with the inclusion of organic zinc.
• Provides an economical, palatable, powdered supplement
for everyday use.
• Improves joint health and function by providing
glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and trace minerals required
for maintenance of connective tissues within the joint.
• Provides the recommended intake rate of glucosamine at
16.7 mg/kg body weight.
Feeding Recommendations
Feed 60 g for the first 4 weeks of supplementation.
Feed 30 g* horses and ponies in work, aged, or retired
horses
Synovate HA® can be fed alongside Glucos-A-Flex to
provide hyaluronic acid for the maintenance of cartilage
health and elasticity, joint fluid viscoelasticity, and
lubrication of the joint.
These recommendations are for horses with a mature body weight of
500 kg. Please adjust according to the weight of your horse.
